Gro app free to all NHS staff until the end of the year to help with lifestyle and support

1st May 2020

As of today, Gro is offering the UK's National Health Service (NHS)'s 1.2 million employees and healthcare providers free subscriptions for 12 months. Through the clinically validated behaviour change app, Gro has been shown to reduce stress, improve sleep quality, and reduce sugar in the diet.

Charlotte Summers, Co-Founder and COO of Gro, comments: "This is an unprecedented time for us as a global community as we face a once-in-a-lifetime international health crisis. COVID-19 has put our healthcare and key workers under immense pressure and there is anxiety and stress that undoubtedly comes with that. The NHS continues to do fantastic work day in, day out, which is why we wanted to do all we could to help people in the front lines."

Any NHS employee can get a free subscription to Gro by visiting www.gro.coach/nhs and registering with their NHS email address. All subscribers receive access to over 1,000 hours of content covering mental wellbeing, sleep, activity and nutrition until December 31, 2020.

The initiative coincides with the NHS Chief People Officer, Prerana Issar's, 'People Plan'. The People Plan is a long-term campaign designed to support those in the NHS, with a particular focus on mental wellbeing.
